Kid Mania! Spring Kid Photos

Some photos of some of the kids - I like to take them out on a green field and shoot away. Yesterday was crazy - 3 ewes lambed to twins and 1 doe kidded to triplets, so 6 lambs and 3 kids! Oh, and 3 more lambs this morning, too (one of which was found dead).

Boer/Nubian buckling. We can really see his grandma in him
(who was one of our first goats, an old Nubian doe)
Sister to the buckling above.
Boer/Nubian buckling - cousin to the 2 above.
Meat cross - grandma is a black spanish (?).

Cute Kid Snaps

I tried to get this post up a few days ago, but for some reason it didn't work.

Here are some cutie pictures of some of the baby goats around here for now, until I get to the rain (LOTS of rain) pictures tomorrow, Lord willing.

Priceless moment! "Grandma" and her matching baby girl laying down on top of her - So cute!

I like this one too . . . Roxie likes her babies!

Baby goat and kitty ;).

"Get me out of here!"

Stacked doelings, from mini to big.

Kid pile!

What's over there?

Soaking in the nice weather.

Bye-Bye for now!

Pink Sunset and Outside Milking

A pretty sunset the other day, while we milked outside because of the barn floor work.

Quiet Country Life

When people come out to visit they often mention how peaceful and quiet it is out here. The country is indeed a great place to live. Besides ranch life (which can be quite crazy at times), it is pretty quiet.
