Animal & Firework pictures - an update

Here is a picture update. Remember my other blog? That one is usually a bit more updated, so you may want to check it so you don't miss anything.

This dog likes fireworks . . . kinda odd. He runs around them and barks.

Remember Tic Tac? What a cutie he was! Tic Tac was re-homed just some days ago.

Berry, our Nigerian Dwarf buck.

Topaz, our F3 Mini Nubian buck.

Trauma, scratching herself. She's a sweetie :).

A Finn ewe lamb.
A bottle calf - was my big baby until we sold him a few weeks ago and replaced him with . . .

. . . this cutie. He is sweet, and likes to be scratched. This was when we first got him, he was pretty young. We got him "over the hump" and he's doing good now.

Another Update + Pictures - The New (and the old)

Sunday was the local soccer league finals, and our team, Revolution, won - but sorry, no pictures yet because I don't have them imported yet ;).

2 new male llamas - from registered stock.

Another new animal we bought as an alpaca, but we think it's a llama/alpaca cross (I'm not joking). He is friendly.

And here he is again with his friend, an alpaca.

More new animals . . . we got over a dozen shetland sheep.

An old little mule and a mini (just bigger than the goats!) donkey.

Painted desert horned rams.

And lastly, something that's not new - one of our old, thin mini nubian does. In this picture - we let her hang out in the front yard and she went under the truck that's being worked on for shade :).

Checking In - We made it to the Finals!

Checking in . . .

- 3 new lambs.

- My oldest brother turned 20 a few days ago.

- We made it to the finals in the local soccer league. The game is this weekend. My dad, brothers and nephews play on the team, and my sister is the assistant coach.

- Our small garden.

- Our big donkey, due later in the year.

 - Buddy, the alpaca, that we bought back.

- One of the surviving bottle calves. He is actually very energetic, just sleeping right here.

{late} Happy Mother's Day! the human moms ;). Since we live on a ranch, why not include a few pictures of the animal mamas for mother's day, too?

Mom + daughter.

A good sitter duck is so devoted. This one hatched out about 20 after the long approx. 36 days.

A mama goat with her new son.

Happy Spring! (Pictures)

Yes, I see spring was officially like 6 weeks ago. But the flowers just started *really* springing up here. You see, without a word from me in about 2 weeks or so, blogging's been on the back burner. But it's not that hard to post a few pictures of the beautiful flowers and goats that have been springing up.
